Currently enrolled students expected to graduate in the spring of 2021 only:

Graduation Requirements

  • Must complete all required credits

  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA

  • Demonstrated a comparable level of achievement to state assessments (on a case-by-case basis determined by the district) for the FSA ELA and Algebra 1 EOC

Bright Futures

  • Service hours have been suspended for the current 2021 seniors

  • Deadline has been extended to December 1, 2021 in order to receive qualifying ACT and SAT scores

 

Promotion and retention decisions:

EOC (End-of-Course Exams)

  • Algebra 1 students currently enrolled will still need to pass the course as well as the EOC.  EOC must be attempted before a concordant score may be used.

  • For this year only, students currently enrolled in Biology, US History, Geometry, and Civics, the EOC exams will not be tied to the students’ final grade. 

**If students are wishing to receive a Scholar Designation on their diploma, they will need to take the EOC and score a proficient score of Level 3 or higher.​

Promotion

  • Schools and districts will be allowed discretion to determine promotion and course grade decisions.

 

School Grades:

  • Any school testing 90% or more of their students can opt in to receive a school grade

  • Districts may also choose to opt in to receive school grades or school improvement ratings

  • 2020-2021 learning gains and middle school acceleration will be calculated using the 2018-2019 and 2020-2021 data
